Mythic Championship IV Barcelona: quick report

If we thought that Modern Horizons had changed the landscape of Modern… Well, we didn’t see any of the new cards in the grand final of Mythic Championship Barcelona! ‘Old school’ Tron, featuring no copies of Karn, the Great Creator, won the whole thing, beating Hardened Scales in the final. Without a doubt the new London mulligan rule has boosted Tron: finding all the pieces quickly enough is now more viable than ever.

Here are the Top 8 decklists, which surprisingly only featured one Hogaak player, despite being the deck that by far dominated the metagame. Always nice to enjoy such diverse finals.

1st place: ‘Classic’ Tron.

2nd place. Hardened Scales.

4th place. Eldrazi Tron.

4th place. Jund.

8th place. Hogaak.

8th place. Jund.

8th place. Mono Red Phoenix.
